May 27, 2025My name is Daniel Sanchez, and I am a Seminarian for the Diocese of Dallas! I was born and raised in Dallas. My hometown is Balch Springs, TX, and my home parish is Divine Mercy of our Lord Catholic Church. My vocation story begins at my parents’ anniversary Mass, at the age of 13, where I saw the loving perseverance of a priest who, despite his physical pain, continued to serve his parish. His suffering ignited an inexplicable joy in me that compelled me to live a life of service and sacrificial love for the people of God. Daily prayer, helping the poor, attending my youth group community, and reading the life of the saints were small parts of my day that remarkably impacted my life and sparked in me a desire to pursue a priestly vocation. I have been discerning at Holy Trinity Seminary for three years, and am excited to serve the community of Holy Cross and grow in greater love for the Lord and his Church!
